The Toshiba G8000 is a three phase on line double conversion UPS. It utilizes Toshiba’s revolutionary Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology. Toshiba was the first to debut these devices in the UPS market, and the Toshiba G8000 benefits from this cutting edge innovation.
The Toshiba G8000 is frequently used for power protection in the medical industry (particularly for MRIs and CT scanners), where reliable power is of urgent importance. The G8000 provides as much as 20% more power than competing UPS models, thanks to its utility power factor output. The Toshiba G8000 UPS is 100% generator compatible and there is no need for an oversized generator to match the unit, as its low input current harmonics eliminate such a requirement.
