Mission Critical Facilities International Accelerates ESG Social Impact
MCFI expands significant social outreach globally and locally
SPICEWOOD, Texas – December 15, 2022 – Mission Critical Facilities International (MCFI), a leader in modular data center, power and cooling infrastructure solutions, is deepening its commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives that span from Texas to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. MCFI is a preeminent company that delivers modular and edge data center solutions while empowering communities and the future of digital infrastructure through its Conscious Capitalism culture.
This fall, MCFI played a pivotal role in providing reliable electricity to the Dominican Republic by donating an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment solution to Solid Rock International’s REVOLUTION Project. MCFI’s contribution bridges a vital gap between city power and backup generators and provides critical electricity for medical clinics in the area. Previously, the company donated backup generators to two hospitals in Guatemala and continues to identify opportunities to make a significant impact in remote healthcare worldwide through its innovative technology.
MCFI participates in other global programs such as Operation Christmas Child and Compassion International. Its impact is also deeply rooted within the Austin, Texas, community, especially during the holiday season. MCFI serves as a dropoff site for the Partnerships for Children’s Holiday Wishes program and supports families in need during the holidays through the Travis County Sheriff’s Brown Santa program. The company’s holiday cards are ordered from The University of Texas MD Anderson Children’s Art Project each year to support patient programs for children with cancer.
MCFI is also heavily involved with Community First! Village, a 51-acre community in Austin, Texas, providing affordable housing for those experiencing chronic homelessness, Front Steps blanket drives and various other nonprofits in Austin and the surrounding areas.
“MCFI remains steadfast in maximizing our impact on society with care and purpose,” said Matt Coffel, President of MCFI. “Community involvement is the cornerstone of the MCFI culture that focuses on adding value to essential social capital on a global and local scale.”
MCFI’s robust portfolio of sustainable telecom solutions includes GENIUS™ modular/prefabricated data centers and MicroGENIUS™, a sustainable microgrid communications shelter that delivers efficient, grid-independent energy solutions.
